We’re super excited at the Myntra office to announce our exclusive partnership with fashion iconoclast, Hrithik Roshan, to launch and manufacture his active lifestyle apparel and casual wear brand – HRX.
The HRX range includes casual- and active-wear apparel and sports footwear for men. The products are lightweight and made of premium fabrics crafted with a contemporary slim fit. The entire collection features peppy colors and showcases the latest in active-wear fashion.
On partnering with Myntra.com and the inspiration behind HRX, Hrithik Roshan said, “I always envisioned HRX to be a platform that could inspire people to bring out their best and to never give up! My team, Afsar Zaidi from Exceed and Sid Shah from The Wild East Group have taken my philosophy and turned it into a brand. Partnering with Myntra.com to launch HRX was the opportune decision as they are in-sync with our philosophy and effortlessly helped in creating the brand, just as I visualized.”
Our CEO and Co-Founder, Mukesh Bansal said, “We are very excited about the opportunity to build original indigenous brands in India. Hrithik has massive fan base and is widely respected for his passion for fitness. We felt that we can create a very unique and lasting brand by taking inspiration from Hrithik’s work ethic, his incredible story of overcoming various setbacks and of course one of the most stylish actors in Bollywood. HRX is a very innovating brand with leading edge fashion that seamlessly merges active lifestyle, global fashion trends and Indian tastes.”

Earlier this week, everyone was all geared up for Myntra’s half yearly celebrations for an evening of high fashion, comedy, cocktails and dinner.
We had funnyman Rajeev Thakur come in, to get everyone smiling and ready for the evening. Shalmali Kholgade set the melodious tone for the evening with her lovely voice and Raja Hassan had everyone grooving to his tunes.
Suffice it to say, we partied the night away, the Myntra way!

The past few days were a part of Art Week at Myntra’s Catalog office, in collaboration with Jennard Galleries. As a part of the Art Week, themed paintings and art were hung on our walls. The themes were – Hollywood fashion idols, fashion capitals and fashion magazines. Take a look at some of the pictures dressing up our office walls – here.
As a part of this programme, everyone was treated to an interactive presentation and talk on “Fashion & Art” with a fashion quiz after! The speaker was the accomplished Mr. Mani M from the Retail Designing and Fashion Merchandising world. Take a look at some of the pictures from the event, below:
This month, members of our Running Club participated in the Kaveri Trail Marathon at Srirangapatna’s Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary – one that’s classed as a difficult trail.
The exciting run saw participants from different functions across Myntra such as Finance, Tech, CS and HR, who participated in both events – 10K and 21K. The team had to travel at 2 am in the night to arrive at the event at 6:30 am. amidst continuous rain through the night and physical fatigue from lack of good sleep. In spite of that it was a brilliant show!
For the 10K run on 14 September, there were nine participants and key highlight was the amazing of perseverance by Naveen who stood 6th in the entire run with hundreds of runners, covering 10K in 46 minutes. The 21K run on 15 September had five participants with Sanjay covering half the marathon in 2:14 mins in spite of recovering from sickness. The rest of team wound up within 2:45 minutes, putting up a great show!
Here’s a picture that captures the highlights of the run:
Online shopping has become very popular in the North East with Guwahati featuring among the top 12 cities across the country, according to our recent study.
During a recent visit to Guwahati, our co-founder, Ashutosh Lawania commented, “Youngsters today are extremely fashion conscious and tech savvy. In Guwahati, we have seen the youth echo the same sentiment. Online shopping gives them a platform to access the best international and Indian brands at affordable prices with the convenience of shopping from anywhere anytime.”
There is also a steady increase in the number of online shoppers from neighboring cities such as Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Sibsagar and Tinsukia in the past few months.
We also noticed that, men prefer to shop for smart casuals and footwear while women prefer western and ethnic wear while shopping online. Brands like Puma, Nike, Duke, Shree and Myntra.com’s in-house brands Roadster, Dressberry and Anouk are preferred by shoppers in Assam.
Catering to the growing demand from the region, we recently opened our in-house delivery centre in Guwahati and also offer services to over 50 locations using third party couriers. The other states covered in the region are Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.

We’re always looking for new ways to delight our amazing shoppers, and that was the thought behind our latest pilot run where we delivered orders within an hour of placement. Delighted customers received orders in an hour or two of placing them, much to their pleasant surprise.
Shopping in metros can become a long-drawn and cumbersome process, thanks to congested roads and restricted parking. This pilot was our effort to bridge the gap between online and offline shopping to create a hassle-free shopping experience. Our Chief Operating Officer, Ganesh Subramanian, believes that innovations like this will change the public’s perceptions of online shopping. He further added that our state-of-the-art warehouse management system and streamlined processes helped in building a solid framework for effective logistics and deliveries.
Take a look at the exciting journey from the time an order is placed to the happy faces of the customers when they receive it. This video follows the events that unfold after that one click of a button that places the order – sparking off a chain of events from our warehouse executives picking the order in quick precision, to the energetic Style Delivery Associates weaving their way through the urban jungle to deliver your order.
One of our regular customers, Sabir Chaudhary, who was extremely pleased with this quick service said, “I’ve never seen anyone deliver within an hour of order placement. This is really impressive. This will change the entire shopping experience in India.”
We certainly hope so!
After the success of our first outing to Bilikal Betta, our Adventure Club planned its second biking trip to Savandurga which is about 12 kms off Magadi town and considered to be among the largest monolith hills in Asia.
A group of 12 met one early Saturday morning and rode towards Magadi crossing the once popular Thippagondanahalli reservoir. With 1/3rd of Bangalore sucking portable water from this reservoir, there is hardly any left to generate electricity today.
In less than an hour, we were at Magadi town which was to be our pit-stop for breakfast. With directions from local autowallahs, we arrived at an old nondescript building. Once inside, we were greeted to warm service and piping hot thatte (plate shaped) idlis and vadas. Hot coffee and tea followed to help settle our heavy meal.
As we neared our destination, we got a glimpse of the sheer magnitude of this monolith. With adequate water supply, the team began their assent to the top with a few casualties dropping mid-way. In about 2.5 hours, the team had managed to scale the peak and come back.
Refreshed with tender coconuts, we continued on our way towards Big Banyan Tree via Manchinbele Dam. The sun wasn’t kind to us anymore, so with a quick stop for photographs and light refreshments, we continued on our way back to the city via Mysore road.
We covered about 140kms during our 6 hour journey with some amazing sights along the way. This is truly a must visit destination for all nature lovers.
“Life is like a game of poker. You can’t change the cards that you are dealt. You can only strive to make the best out of them.” – Rick Warren
Striving to make the best of the cards dealt, is exactly what players from Myntra did, during our Poker Tournament. With six, 6-handed poker tables, we saw a gripping game with 36 players taking each other head on, in an effort to knockout the others – the goal of course, was to be the last player surviving.
What characterizes poker as a game of skill as opposed to luck, is the decision-making aspect of when to bet, how much to bet and when to stay out of a hand. The outcome is a direct result of your decision.
We were pleasantly surprised to see the highly energy levels in a game meant for fun, without any monetary component attached to it. We saw a display of tremendous skill, high-stake bluffs, heart-breaking defeats, dramatic comebacks and exciting hands until the very last card, leaving the spectators thrilled with every twist in the game. We were quite close to running out of chips!
After three hours of grinding with marginal hands, staying out of weak hands and playing tactfully with the best, the triumphant winner was Ashish Lohiya.
P.S: He’s the one flashing a winning smile with the thumbs up sign, posing next to his hard-won chip-stack
