Remember last year, when you gave your wardrobe a breath of fresh air and got the chance to contribute to a cause as well? Yes, that was Myntra Fashion Upgrade and MFU is back! After the success and popularity of the first edition last year, Myntra has rolled out the second edition of this one-of-a-kind gig. Starting April 1st, Myntra Fashion Upgrade will go on till April 6th.
Now, all you have to do is collect the clothes that you have been overlooking for more than a year because they don’t suit your personality anymore, don’t fit you or the ones bought on an impulse and never actually wore. Take them all out of your wardrobe, gather them in a box and send them to Myntra. And what will you get out of it, you ask? Well, apart from the happiness of doing a good act, you will also receive redeemable points proportional to how many and what items you give away.
This is an initiative in association with GOONJ, a Delhi-based voluntary organisation that will channelise the unused clothes to remote villages and urban slums as an important development resource. The current edition of the event plans to collect over 6 lakh items. It will be a 40% increase compared to the 1st edition held in November 2017 and the scale of collection done over this period will be the largest ever done globally.
In addition to all that excitement, you will get to choose latest styles from in-house brands like HRX, Roadster, Anouk, All About You and Dressberry that will be available at the MFU. A host of global brands such as Jack & Jones, United Colors of Benetton, Vero Moda, Forever 21, and USPA, as well as domestic ones like W, Biba and Red Tape are also participating in the event.
