The Seventh Edition Of Myntra’s EORS: Ending The Year In Style
Adding fireworks to the holiday season, Myntra’s seventh edition of the End of Reason Sale was one of the biggest hits that marked the end of the year 2017. The sale went live at December 22nd at 12 AM and rattled a frenzy on the website till 12 AM on December 26th.
Prepared and well-equipped for the outpour, the four day sale recorded the highest share of first-time buyers for Myntra. The sale saw a total of more than 5 lakh new customers out of which 65% were from the tier II and III cities and towns. This was without a doubt the biggest EORS for Myntra till date.
With the whole country coming online to make the best of the deals offered, 365 orders were processed on an average per minute. Sportswear was clearly the most dominant category, having accounted for 22% of the sales on Myntra and Jabong.
Myntra had also introduced ‘Social Shopping’ which certainly proved its worth to the customers during the sale. Users created over 5.5 lakh for EORS which contributed 20% to the revenues of EORS.
All teams across different offices worked round the clock to ensure that products are being delivered on time so that the people can begin the New Year in style. The Myntra App also ranked as the no. 1 app on the Appstore and as the no 1 shopping app on Playstore during this period.
More than 25 celebrities from various fields including Bollywood, sports and television etc. endorsed #EORS on social media platforms. Some of the biggest names included Hrithik Roshan, Vijender Singh, Sakshi Malik and R Ashwin.
