“Winter Is Coming”, GOT Your Collection Yet?

George R R Martin, whose novel, A Song of Ice and Fire, was adapted as everyone’s favourite TV series, Game of Thrones, worked in Hollywood for about 10 years. All his first drafts tended to be either too big, or too expansive, and he hated having to cut them short. So, one fine day he said to himself, “I’m sick of this, I’m going to write something that’s as big as I want it to be, and it’s going to have a cast of characters that go into the thousands, and I’m going to have huge castles, and battles, and dragons.”

As any GOT fan would vouch, the bigger the better. The infighting among the Houses Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Bolton, Greyjoy, Baratheon or Tyrell can only be experienced in their full glory with colourful characters – John Snow, Arya Stark, Tyrrian and Khaleesi – and a dramatic musical score, to match.

The success of the TV series has spawned a desire for all things GOT. Even former US President Barack Obama was not immune to it, as was evident from the image published by the White House to coincide with a GOT episode in 2014.

Wear Your Favourite GOT Quotes

With the series developing a cult following across the world, Myntra brings the highly coveted Game of Thrones collection to its customers in India through its brand Kook N Keech. So, here’s your chance to express your personality through famous sayings from GOT on tees that come in fabulous styles.

Game of Thrones on Myntra

Every group of buddies has that one wise guy whose mission is to offer life advice. A tee proclaiming “That’s What I Do, I Drink And I Know Things” would be a nice touch for him, wouldn’t it? And ladies, anyone up for a “You Know Nothing, Jon Snow”?

Remember the phrase “Valar Morghulis”? The High Valyrian saying originating from Braavos, a city located on the northwestern tip of Essos, translates into “All Men Must Die,” and is usually answered with “Valar Dohaeris”, meaning “All Men Must Serve.” You can be sure to find the former on Myntra.

Devastating as it is, Hodor’s “Hold The Door” moment is one of the best loved scenes from the series. How about making a statement with that? And mommies, who know their dragons… oops brats… can choose a “Mother of Dragons” tee.

There’s no dearth of expressions from this extravagant canvas that is Game of Thrones. So, happy journey to the “Land of Always Winter”!
