A Glimpse of The Future of Fashion at Myntra Tech Threads
In an evening full of fun, fashion, technology, culture and all things colorful, Myntra’s annual brand summit, Tech Threads, brought together over 250 leading domestic and global fashion brands to celebrate the business of fashion. The 2019 edition of Tech Threads witnessed eminent speakers discussing the future of fashion ranging from technology, evolving consumer behavior and creating supply chain efficiencies to transform fashion retail in India.
Making the evening more colorful was the fashion show and partner awards for the best brands in each category. Bollywood heartthrob and co-owner of leading activewear sports brand HRX, Hrithik Roshan created ripples with his energetic presence. He was there to launch the latest brand campaign focused on fitness for HRX.
Brand partners were given insights on how Myntra will continue to drive value by investing in a fashion specific supply chain, data-based fashion retailing and digitally powered brand building.
In his keynote address Head of Myntra Jabong, Amar Nagaram pointed out that Myntra is transforming the way India consumes fashion. He highlighted that Myntra’s unique selections, omnichannel approach, and data-driven insights are the essence of customer-centricity. The strong emotional connection that Myntra has with its customers, fashion expertise led content, and sustained engagement has transformed Myntra into the first voice of fashion in the country.
This year’s Tech Threads also saw a riot of colors through curated fashion shows for ethnic and western wear to showcase the new season collection, as well as a dance performance by Terrence Lewis, one of India’s leading choreographers.
