An all-encompassing insurance policy for our diverse Myntra workforce
Myntra’s workforce is defined by its young, talented and discerning employees, who have a contemporary outlook to life. The health and well-being of this diverse workforce has always been our top priority and we have implemented many a measure in our office that is aimed at the mental, physical, financial and social well-being of our employees. We have now introduced an industry-first health insurance policy that firmly takes this approach forward, because of the all-encompassing nature of its benefits.
Walk the talk on inclusivity
The focus of the new policy will be to strengthen the culture of diversity and inclusion of the organization by adapting itself to the nuances of the era and vastly expanding the scope of standard benefits. The new base policy will now include benefits for LGBTQ employees, for instance, coverage for gender reassignment surgery, same-sex partners amongst others. We have also extended the coverage benefits to live-in partners, irrespective of their gender. Additionally, to support our employees, who have children and/or siblings with disabilities, we have waived off the age limit for their coverage. Special needs or disabilities covered under the policy include covering costs of treatments associated with autism, behavioral therapy, speech therapy and more. The base policy will also cover OPD costs arising out of any kind of accident.
For those in the dilemma of having to choose between parents and parents-in-law, we understand their requirements and are offering them a flexi-option to get coverage for both simultaneously. The new flexi-option policy will also cover vision and dental care costs, including OPD consultations and non-cosmetic procedures. What’s more, this is also applicable for parents and/or in-laws over the standard policy. Employees can choose to enhance their sum insured up to 50 lakhs as a flexi-option policy.
