Cubeit Now A Part Of Myntra
“Technology is at the core of our operations,” says Myntra’s Chief Product & Technology Officer, Shamik Sharma. With that in mind Myntra recently acquired Bengaluru-based company, Cubeit, which focuses on building mobile applications that allows users to aggregate content from any given location.
As part of the acquisition, Cubeit team has now become a part of Myntra. This will further strengthen and expand Myntra’s technology team. “Technology is at the core of our operations and we are looking at leveraging it to further enhance customer experience through social and community interactions on our platforms. We have always been on the lookout for quality talent and the Cubeit team brings with it the expertise and experience to help strengthen our offerings,” said Sharma.
Cubeit was founded in 2014 by Sarthak Jain, Nithinkumar Gadiparthi and Prathamesh Juvatkar. Speaking on the development, co-founder Sarthak Jain said, “Myntra offers us the opportunity to leverage our skills and further build upon a very strong technological base.”
This is not the first time Myntra has acquired another technology focused company to strengthen its own base. In 2013 it acquired Fitiquette, a San Francisco-based technology solution firm and Native5, a Bengaluru-based mobile app development company, in 2015.
