Instameet 2016: ‘The Ink Bucket’ Goes Hatke

An entire year’s hard work bore fruits when MFI designer Vidhi Khandelwal launched her brand The Ink Bucket on Myntra. The launch of her very own collection of accessories was one of the most thrilling moments of her life. But in addition to retailing the brand, one would also desire to meet and interact with consumers, like-minded people, entrepreneurs and art enthusiasts. Vidhi was busy doing just this over the weekend, exchanging thoughts and spending some fun time together with new and interesting people!

In an event called ‘Instameet 2016’, organized in collaboration with a start-up visual arts magazine, ‘The Hatke’, Vidhi had the opportunity to introduce her brand to the people gathered. While Vidhi was present in Bangalore at the Myntra office to do this in person, other teams were also meeting groups of people in Delhi, Mumbai and Surat with close to 450 registrations across these cities.

The ball started rolling with a brand introduction – the ethos behind The Ink Bucket, how it all came about, where the brand is headed and a lot more. There were other fun activities as well, such as the Postcard Project. A number of postcards designed by Vidhi were laid out for people to write messages on, and Myntra was to post it for them. She had also designed a calendar as a giveaway for people.

“It was really great to meet so many like-minded people, hear how they are moving away from the mainstream job market and following their passion. There were people from all walks of life and exchanging thoughts and ideas with them was very exciting,” says Vidhi.
