Meet Nita Rajvanshi, first ever female MENSA delivery partner in Ahmedabad

Nita Rajvanshi is rarely seen without a smile on her face and is known for her dedication as a delivery partner for Myntra’s Extended Network for Service Augmentation (MENSA).  A women apparel seller based in Ahmedabad, she joined MENSA two years ago. For her, every package she delivers is a way to become more self-sufficient. “What I value the most about my work as a MENSA partner is the independence that comes with it; I feel like I am my own boss,” says Nita.

That doesn’t come as a surprise, considering that women like her truly get to work on their own terms when they are associated with Myntra. Flexible timings and plenty of support from Myntra makes it easier for MENSA partners like Nita to enjoy a stress-free work life balance, while augmenting their income.

What’s more, she feels really proud to be the first MENSA woman delivery partner in Ahmedabad.

Taking responsibilities in her stride

Shouldering responsibilities is something Nita learned early in life. Her mother, who single-handedly raised three girls by working in the textile industry, had left an indelible impression on Nita at a very young age. Today, she too is the sole breadwinner for her family raising two children by herself. Her son is in 12th standard and dreams of going to the US for further studies, and her daughter is studying in 6th standard. As a doting mother, Nita wants her children to follow their dreams.

Despite the fact that she works two jobs, Nita ensures that she sets aside some free time for her children, and unwinds by trying out new recipes by watching videos online.

However, things weren’t always this way for Nita. Before her association with Myntra, she worked full time with other companies, but due to lack of support from her family, she had to quit. With MENSA, Nita has finally found something that she and her family are comfortable with. The fighter in her feels more confident and empowered now.

The initiative that started out as a way to boost Myntra’s last-mile delivery, has ever since paved the way for many women like her to become providers for their families. Myntra’s MENSA program has partnered with over 15000 kirana stores across the country, giving kirana stores and small business owners the opportunity to augment their income.

Today, with MENSA’s support, Nita is financially empowered and is working hard to make her children’s dreams come true. More power to women like her!
