Myntra Dazzles As IIFA’s Style Partner In New York

Bollywood and fashion go hand in hand, and fashion shows have been a part of most IIFA events in the past. With Myntra being the Style Partner for this year’s glitzy award show, how could the dose of fashion be missing?

Innovation however, runs in Myntra’s veins. And so was the case with the fashion show this year.

For starters, it “unramped” by doing away with the usual catwalk and having models walk down the ramp in groups, in an informal and fun way. Along with that, the showstoppers – Bollywood actors Dia Mirza and Tapsee Pannu – showed that there were more ways than one to drape the quintessential saree!

The looks were mixed-and-matched from clothes and accessories available on Myntra to suit different occasions. The event showcased Myntra’s Gen Next collection – its latest collection of quirky, urban, street fashion and stylish wear, styled to perfection by Myntra’s in-house style experts. The entire show exuded not only glamour, but a unique attitude and expression!

Yet another benchmark was Myntra giving its customers in India the exclusive privilege of engaging live with the fashion show and to shopping on-the-go.

What added to the excitement was that more than 20 million Myntra app users voted for their favourite style icon. With young fashionistas speaking in unison, Alia Bhatt was named Myntra ‘Style Icon Of The Year.
