Myntra Enters The Limca Book Of Records For The Largest Clothes Collection Drive For A Cause
The Limca Book of Records 2019 has a new entrant and it’s none other than Myntra!
The Myntra Fashion Upgrade from last April bagged 4,73,690 units of clothing, making it the largest clothes collection drive in India. This beats the previous record set (2,93,623 units) for the largest collection of clothes and footwear in India for a cause. And Myntra does this, all on its first entry!
The Myntra Fashion Upgrade is yet another creative initiative by the brand where shoppers can donate less frequently used clothes and footwear in exchange for points which can be used to acquire new clothing. This means shoppers can upgrade their wardrobe all while decluttering it at the same time!
Sure, decluttering and upgrading one’s wardrobe sounds great, but let’s not forget the real purpose behind this drive, which is to give back to society. In a bid to do that, Myntra associated the Myntra Fashion Upgrade with Goonj, a voluntary organization which has been channeling urban surplus material to rural India to support its development for over two decades.
Myntra is always glad to do its part to give back to society!
