Myntra Partners with Local Tailors to Introduce ‘Alteration’ as a Service
Attention all Myntra lovers! India’s leading online fashion shopping destination has added ‘Alterations’ as a new in-app feature and is all set to offer a whole new shopping experience to its customers. Myntra has tied up with 200 local tailors in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata to take care of customers’ alteration needs and at no extra cost!
Apart from delivering the best shopping experience for its customers, the service will also help augment the income of the tailors, enabling them to grow their business, and enhance their customer interaction skills through training.
Launched ahead of Myntra’s flagship event, the End of Reason Sale (EORS), the service will allow shoppers to opt for alterations at their doorstep for the apparel purchased on Myntra.

What the service includes
The new feature will allow men to get the length alterations for their jeans and trousers. And, phase two of the service, which is coming soon, will provide size alterations for women apparel such as kurtas, kurtis and many more.
All one has to do is opt for the alteration service after the product has been delivered. The tailor will pick up the product from the given address after taking the necessary measurements, and then deliver it back to the customer within 24-48 hours.
The service will make shopping on Myntra more convenient and hassle-free where customers can say goodbye to any fitting flaws and size issues that they might have.
Beyond business
Myntra truly believes that its partners are an integral part of their growth journey and is committed to strengthening small and medium businesses within its ecosystem; and this partnership is a step forward in that direction. Over the years, Myntra’s MENSA (Myntra Extended Network through Store Activation) initiative has provided additional income opportunities to more than 15000 Kirana store owners across 50 cities. Besides boosting Myntra’s last-mile delivery, the program has helped many men and women to earn a second income and provide a better life for their families.
